This entry is part 2 of 11 in the series Hot Glue

I have been in my house for over 6 years now, and the thing that has always intimidated me the most about home decorating is the walls.

There are just so many of them!

Trips to the store to find wall decor would always end in blood, sweat (mostly of the armpit variety) and tears.  My kids never like it either.

So much so, that for a long time, the only things on my walls were photos I took myself.  In fact, when Julie came over the first time after I actually hung a couple of paintings, she said-

Wow! Adrienne has something on the wall besides a photo! Imagine that!

Thanks Jules.

Aaaaaaaaanywho…

If you go to Julie’s house, everything is perfectly done, tasteful, and budget friendly.  She makes decisions!  She thinks of things like hanging wreaths around wall sconces for some extra detail.

Here, she uses beautiful fabric she got at a bargain price in coordinating frames to create a great focal point.

 Mental head slap.

Why didn’t I think of that 5 years ago?
